I remember writing the music to this as I was sitting on our sofa with Paulette and our little Mackenzie when she was a baby. Bill Reveles re-wrote my lyrics in his amazing way. It sort of became this lament on feeling lost in love, unable to escape, like an addiction. It was Todd's idea to have the overlapping acoustics in the break.

Lyrics

Morning spinning light
Emerald into white
When I can hold you
I'll be under too

Lost in her garden
Lost in her garden
Lost in her dream

I can't see at all
I can't feel the fall
Clouded scattered dream
Drifting in between
Lost in her garden
Lost in her garden
Lost in her dream

I don't want to wake up without you
Left here without one thing to choose
Where we could try
Where we could fly

Lost in her garden
Lost in her garden
Lost in her dream
