Morris Road was recorded by Matt Thorne at MT Studios in Burbank, California in 2003. Bill Reveles and I produced. Mixed by Tally Sherwood at the Blue Room, North Hollywood, California. Mastered by Gavin Lurssen at The Mastering Lab in Hollywood, California.

Lead guitar/mandolin—Bruce Watson; drums—David Salinas; bass—Jorgen Carlsson; piano/organ—Arlan Shierbaum; vocals—Gia Ciambotti, Becky Nygard & Bill Reveles; electric & acoustic guitars/keyboards—Chuck Maiden.

Two Planets was written when my first marriage was breaking apart. I felt like we were two planets in different orbits. I added the ascending and descending guitar hook and piano after all the tracks were laid. This was the first song Bruce played guitar on. When he finished his amazing solo, I knew I'd gotten the right guy for the job.

Lyrics

You're the day
And I am night
The sun and the sky and the moon won't lie
Honey I won't let you walk by
Without asking for another day
But go ahead and take your time
Take your time
Take your time

You show just one face at a time
I never know
Which side am I
You used to be the one who cried
Now I'm on the other side
And telling you to take your time
Take your time
Take your time

We're two planets
Moving off line
You're moving too fast
And I'm on a back slide
Honey I won't let you pass by
Without asking for another day
But go ahead and take your time
Take your time
Take your time
Take your time
