This song SOUNDS like it should have been written in the 80's, but I think it was due more to the production values, which, by the way, were not meant to make it sound that way. That is a real ARP synthesizer Matt had laying around the studio, which you'll hear in the bridge. I remember having a lot of trouble getting it to sound right, or in tune or something. Nice playing from all the guys.

Lyrics

Through the mountains and the desert
We traveled all around
But we never went to a place where
Our new love could be found

Tell me
Tell me
Tell me
Can you tell me
Where do I belong
Tell me
Tell me
Tell me
Can you tell me
When did I go wrong

There’s a heart shaped pebble
We picked up in San Simeon
Which one of us found it
Which one through it back

Tell me
Tell me
Tell me
Can you tell me
Where do I belong
Tell me
Tell me
Tell me
Can you tell me
When did I go wrong

Seasons pass
I know them all too well

Sometimes words trip me up
My tears chased you away
I let things fall to pieces
There was nothing I could say

Tell me
Tell me
Tell me
Can you tell me
Where do I belong
Tell me
Tell me
Tell me
Can you tell me
When did I go wrong
